Brian, Buckinham Palace and Toilet Size Differential
Laura's Dad came for another visit this weekend! We went to his
hotel, the Paddington Street Hilton, and then we headed off to
Buckingham Palace for a tour. The Queen's London residence is only
open to the public in August and part of September, so we figured we'd
go for a visit.

Brian was disappointed that she didn't have any tea and cookies out
for us. I also thought it wasn't very hospitable of her.

We then went to the Cheshire Cheese pub, the oldest pub in London. We
had tea and chips.

After a quick pit stop back at the hotel, were we watched a bit of
James Bond, we headed off to a Japanese restaurant for Bento Boxes.
We then wandered around Soho a bit and watched the club goers do their
thing. Then we dropped Mr. McCran off at Paddington station then
headed home.

On Sunday we started neighbourhood shopping. Laura has a new job
outside of Greenwich, so we're looking for a new place to live! What
would we do if we ever had to settle down for more than three months?
It'd be tough.

Oh, check out the difference in the amount of space around the toilet
at the Hilton and the toilet in our little flat.
So Alan and Jen got back from their adventure north of the arctic circle. They drove all the way through the yukon into the N.W.T along the Dempster highway. They took some amazing pictures.
