Joanne's Visit and Trip to Glossop
Last week Joanne came for a visit and stayed with us for a few days.
On the weekend we went up for visit some of Laura and Joanne's family.
We took the train up to Manchester where we switched to go to
Glossop. Which is a small bedroom community for Manchester. It's
beautiful English country side, with rolling hills and farm fields and
the whole bit.

We stayed with Kay and Alan and they were wonderful hosts. We admired
their garden and visited their local cafe. We were introduced to
Jenni's new son Rian. Here is a picture of Kay (Grandma) holding her
first grandson. We went for a walk, and they gave us the cheap tour
of Glossop.
Later on we went for Dinner at Andrea and Chris' place and visited with their kids Matthew and Kate. They took us on a walk around the country side, which is really great. I felt more at home in Glossop then I have anywhere else in England. Very comfortable and very green.
Before heading off to Italy, Joanne, Laura and I went out for dinner at a nice Mediterranean restaurant downtown.
Here are all the pictures.
