Visitors and picnics and such
This week we had a visitor come and stay with us. Manusha, who is
Laura's friend's sister came to London for a visit after living in
Leone France for several months. She stayed two nights before heading
off to Porto Portugal to meet up with Prassedha and Harri.
Yesterday the weather took a turn for the better. We actually got
some summer weather! So Laura and I went down to the Borough market
to find some picnic fixins. We picked up some stinky cheese, field
strawberries, and other stuff. Then we went up to a nice little
forest/park that I like near Wembley park (the soccer/football
stadium).
Here are some neat pictures. They are the London Monument
(commemorating the London Fire in 1660), three inches of space between
our bus and the bus in front of us (mad mad bus drivers here), and
our picnic spot.
Also, in keeping with the Petro mindset from the movie Napoleon Dynamite, I
rather irrationally decided to shave my hair quite short. Vote for Petro!
Laura stood on the sidelines and shook her head.
Here are some more pictures from the last couple of days.
